Jess was born in the United Kingdom and moved to the great state of Texas in 2003 where she has been ever since. Working as an educator, 504, and special education facilitator for various school systems in the area, she recently earned a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lamar University. Jess’s goal is to support individuals, couples, and families who are seeking to meet their goals towards a healthier and more fulfilling life.
During her post-graduate internship, Jess used cognitive and dialectical behavior therapies, psychoeducational and group counseling techniques to help adolescents and adults cope with family issues, low self-esteem, and a variety of anxiety/anger/behavioral challenges. Jess sees counseling as a collaborative process unique to each individual client. It is her goal to connect with the needs of her clients to help them achieve their goals. Jess works with clients dealing with life transitions, reaching life goals, communication skills, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem. Jess is a Licensed Professional Counselor.
The first session is $60 and follow-up sessions are $90 per 50-minute session.
