Kardelen is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate at Martin Counseling. She is currently under the supervision of Ashley Forster, M.Ed, LPC-S.
Kardelen graduated from the University of Houston Victoria- Katy campus with her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She also has a Master of Science degree from University College London, United Kingdom and she completed her degree in Psychoanalytic Developmental Psychology. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Houston and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She has experience working with individuals, both adolescents and adults, couples, and families.
In the past, she worked with clients who struggled with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, self-development, career development, anger management, life changes, trauma, and grief. Kardelen also has experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder as she worked in an ABA clinic.
She is a member of the American Counseling Association, Texas Counseling Association, American Muslim Health Professionals, and Mu Kappa Nu chapter of the Chi Sigma Iota Counseling Honor Society. Her approach to counseling is considered to be holistic as she focuses on the individual as mind, spirit, and body. She is flexible in incorporating other approaches to fit the needs of the client.
Kardelen is fluent in Turkish and can converse in Azerbaijani.
The first session is $75 and follow-up sessions are $100 per 50-minute session.
