Riot Stanley is currently advancing their knowledge and skills by pursuing a graduate degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. This academic journey builds upon a strong foundation, as Riot previously earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the same institution.

Riot’s professional focus centers on offering empathetic and personalized support to individuals navigating a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. Their approach is rooted in a deep understanding of the unique struggles that people face, particularly those from marginalized communities. As a brown and queer individual living in Texas, Riot has firsthand knowledge of the systemic barriers, discrimination, and societal pressures that marginalized groups encounter daily.

Motivated by their personal experiences, Riot is dedicated to advocating for and supporting members of the LGBTQQIP2SA community. Their work extends across diverse age groups, including youth, adolescents, and adults, aiming to foster safe, affirming, and empowering spaces where individuals can thrive. By prioritizing resilience-building, personal growth, and self-acceptance, Riot seeks to help their clients develop the tools to overcome adversity and embrace their identities with pride and confidence. Their practice reflects a profound commitment to inclusivity and a vision of mental health care that uplifts and empowers those who often feel unseen or unheard.
